Packing my bag
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Friday, 22nd of January 2021
Today I picked up a prescription for Miss S at the pharmacy, then ran it over to her place to drop it off. It was all very straightforward.
Not quite though, there was a moment when I wondered if I could fit all the medication into my backpack. It came in two quite large plastic bags. Luckily, the Ultimate Direction Fastpack 20 is a high performance machine. It was up to the task and then some.
Well now, this is probably my last good deed! Thanks to all my group run, mission and race team buddies over the years. It has been an absolute blast and turning up to an Islington group run on a Monday night in January 2016 was easily one of the wisest decisions I've ever made. Sigh. Wish I didn't have to but I must now be off. Take care of each other (and everyone else) GG family.
Final two pics of Highbury Fields and Arsenal Community Centre, my run today taking me past the former and current homes of GoodGym Islington. So many biscuits, so very many biscuits.
