Perfect lunch break (but don't tell my boss I left my desk at 11:59)
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the LinkAge Plus Project in Tower Hamlets.

Delivering the food parcels for St Hilda's is easily one of my favourite tasks - it is the perfect opportunity to stop what you're doing (working / watching Netflix / sleeping) and get outdoors to give our community a helping hand. Rain or shine, Goodgymers turn up to this task and deliver essential meals to individuals and families who are needing our support - especially due to COVID-19.
I didn't bump into the other Goodgymers today, but was greeted, as usual, by the wonderful Jennifer & Co to pick up my Stepney parcels then jumped back on my bike to try to beat the rain - although this particular aspect of the task was very unsuccessful... Despite a thorough soaking, all 3 of my parcels were delivered with a smile and gratefully received by the residents - making all parties day that little bit better.
Would especially recommend this task to anyone struggling with one of the world's fastest growing 1st world problems - "Working From Home Fatigue" Well done and big thanks to all the volunteers today.

Lucky enough to be the Area Activator for Tower Hamlets. Personal trainer. Seriously sweet tooth.
