Well we may have arrived as soggy moggies, but we certainly left as happy cats.
10 GoodGym-ers spent another great Saturday afternoon supporting the Naomi House & Jacks Place charity shop. Their £1 sale is going so well that they have extended it. (Let’s not talk about how this has ruined my opportunity to use the only good pun I’ve ever thought of!!)
ALL clothing is still just £1, and kids’ clothes are 2 for £1, so go grab yourself a bargain this week. Today we sorted and hung donations, Jo had to delve deep into the donations cupboard to find the men’s wear so we could ensure there was plenty on the shop floor for everyone. We worked up an appetite, by running up and down the stairs taking stock to the shop floor or by furiously hanging (or re-hanging for some!) garments. Luckily for us Katie had packed a tin of delicious homemade cheese scones - thank you Katie.
As usual there were lots of laughs and even talk of shooting our own GoodGym calendar (we’ll pop that one in the bank to be discussed later).
We will be back here again soon, so do check the website and sign up to join us.
