A fantastic four (including Helen for her first ever session 🥳) rocked up to the Water Tower for a evening of vegetation removal.
The plan is for the space to one day be transformed into somewhere the public can access to learn about the amazing history of the towers and the crystal palace.
The plants had grown massively since our last visit a few months ago thanks to the weather so we really had our work cut out.
John provided the tools but most of it was hand-y work to be honest. Yanking up weeds (which thankfully hadn't been able to get too deep-rooted since we removed the bed of soil) and snipping off tree branches which had emerged from what we thought were dead trunks...
After a solid 45 minutes, we'd achieved quite a dramatic transformation - check out the before and after pics.
Nice one team! 💪
