Poles apart
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.
- Sunday, 21st of March 2021
Darren ran to Mrs L to help fix her curtain pole that had broken in half.
The curtain rod was poles apart but Darren and Mrs L were quite the opposite as this was Darren's shortest ever mission run.
The pair chatted as Darren repaired the pole and applied some handy wood glue to get it safely back where it belonged.
It should remain in place as long as Mrs L's kitty doesn't try to climb the curtains!
Mrs L was delighted to learn more about Goodgym and took down our details and promised to talk about us at her church. Darren will speak to his Area Activator about getting some posters to the church. Mrs L thinks lots of her friends and the church itself will need Goodgyms help.
In Mrs L's words...."from something bad happening, lots of good will come".
