Pretty Chill
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

Beautiful Saturday sunny weather and the second mission of the day for Kapil. I was interested to hear that on his first, the beneficiary had 25 different types of rose and there are thousands of varieties. I'm currently struggling to grow just the one...
We were at Ms A's to help remove some unwanted furniture from her flat and the GG red tops once again came in handy as Ms A's son spotted us from afar and came down to meet us. He showed us where the items were to be left outside the flat for collection, then back up to the flat to show us the single bed and the fridge that we needed to bring down. It was easy to do, as I've found myself pointing out to several people now, fridges aren't that heavy when they haven't got anything in them and especially when they aren't taller than you.
We had a lovely chat with Ms A and her son afterwards - she was keen to offer us something in return for our lifting efforts and (I think) was convinced in the end that a jaffa cake or two and a lemonade was plenty.
Great to meet you Kapil, hopefully see you again on another one!
