I had heard about GoodGym through work (with groups taking off every Monday literally around the corner), and eventually decided that I should give it a go.
Monday night came and I was sat at work at 6.30 pm with the wind howling and the rain slashing against the windows desperately trying to think of an excuse out of it… I could not have been more unmotivated! Luckily, my boyfriend was travelling over from central London to join in too, so I could hardly drop out now.
We all gathered at The Arch on Cambridge Heath Road and there was a good sized group of 22 people. After a bit of a motivational speech and some warm ups from Mark we were off into the night.
