Reggie's community garden part 1
16 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Greenwich.
- Saturday, 13th of March 2021
- Led by Rachel Henry
GoodGymmers in Greenwich were tasked with litter picking today, which coincided with the our first day of our community garden project. The area we are converting has long been a wasteland so we had to clear the rubbish that was layered through the overgrown grass and weeds before turning the soil. We made a great start even though the weather did not stay in our favour!
GoodGymmers across the UK joined in, battling the winds to clear up our local areas. The strangest items we found were a label for a shark teeth grinder, a bike stopper, a red nose day nose and some very muddy tin-snips.
Thank you everyone!
