Our last session before BST returns some welcome light back into our sessions and lives. Yesterday I met Rosa and Kev, just before 7pm and the twilight rays were coming to an end. Hence, next week we should have some light for the first half of the session - I'll take that.
We skipped our RWQ this week, with most meeting us at site, instead we discussed work challenges, slow walkers, pavement hoggers and facing phobias, or not.
Siobhan, Si, Hils and Pablo met us at Get Out. Rosa gave us our orders and we set to it. A trio went off to skim the organic growth off the top of the pond, inadvertently disturbing intimate amphibious moments, that pond is now teeming with sexually frustrated frogs. Although was great to see the Newt Kev found, a bit lesser spotted I think.
The plants were also watered and the compost was turned, all pretty basic stuff, but it's got to get done - all helps.
I'll see some of you on Saturday at Get Out for the social, if not there then at Abbey Gardens next week.
Till then,
B
