“Royal Weeding” we left everything “Rosie”
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Saturday, 19th of May 2018
Myself, Judith and David arrived on a beautiful sunny day to do some Royal Weeding (our Wedding invites were probably lost in the post) and to mow the lawn.
We had a really great welcome from Mrs M and her little 18 month old Yorkshire Terrier Rosie (possibly the friendliest dog in the world) as soon as Mrs M opened the door Rosie very excitedly rushed out to great us.
We had a quick chat with Mrs M (and took in turns to say hello to Rosie) to find out what gardening tasks she would like us to do.
The three of us got to work: David on lawnmower duty, Judith & Paul Weeding.
A great day to be outside in the sunshine and a great day for a good chat with Mrs M whilst we worked.
The three of us were supervised and entertained by a very energetic Rosie.
One lawn mowed, and 6 large sacks of weeds later it was time to say out goodbyes to Mrs M and Rosie.
