Rubbish all the way...
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the Surfers Against Sewage in Bristol.

It's been a long while since we last picked litter along the Avon river banks with surfers against sewage and our absence was definitely noticeable. There was an unbelieveable amount of rubbish piling up along the shore, quite a devastating sight... Six keen GoodGymers and Mark from SAS did their best to collect as such litter as possible. That part was easy given there was plenty of rubbish about... However our efforts to clean the area was somewhat limited by the fact that we had to carry all rubbish back the 1km stretch to the collection point. Thankfully Mark brought his wheelbarrow along so we could at least transport the old fridge we fished out the river fairly easily. The bags grew heavier and our arms longer with every meter closer to the collection point but we manage to collect a neat pile of rubbish at the end. Maybe Santa could bring us another wheelbarrow (or trolley?) so we can prevent even more rubbish even up in the ocean?
Amazing effort everyone!
