Sedum and weep!
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.

Here's what Ms K of CF5 had to say about the mission:
Marvelous! I couldn't wish for better. It looks so different out there now.
On a grey and drizzly day in Cardiff, the clouds cleared just as Ellen, Nic and I arrived at Ms K’s home. This was my second visit to Ms K, having spent some time with her a few months ago. She was pleased to see us and set about explaining and demonstrating the task!
Ms K explained that she loved gardening and in a previous residence had three quarters of an acre of land. She had worked hard on the garden, including mowing the large lawn with a non motorised mower! Fortunately, the task at hand was not quite so tough today.
Ms K had been pleased with the mini wall that GoodGym Cardiff and Vale had previously ‘built’ for her around her flower garden but some of the bricks had been moved out of place. Our task was to neatly place the bricks back onto the wall and to weed the area.
We got to work, chatting about how we’d spent our morning, the forthcoming Christmas party and what to wear…to the Santa Dash! GoodGym girls are definitely getting into the Christmas spirit! Nic and I concentrated on the wall, ensuring that the bricks were all aligned and neatly stacked. Ellen, armed with a fork, began the weeding. Ms K had explained that she wanted to dig up one of the plants that she was less keen on. This happened to be one of Ellen’s favourite plans - a Sedum! Keen to save the plant, Ellen carefully removed it ready to be ‘re-potriated’ into Ellen’s garden!
Having filled two bags with weeds and tidied the wall, our task was complete. Ms K was delighted with our work and gave us an open invitation to come back any time. We had a lovely chat with Ms K about her entrepreneurial spirit - she had been a keen car boot seller in her time and clearly had an eye for a bargain! It was time to bid farewell to Ms K - just in time as the dark clouds began to gather and the rain returned!

Nice report and mission folks
Well done all! Going to have to google Sedum now and add it to list of 5 plants I know
We have received some feedback from the beneficiary of our last mission Tidying up the garden for Ms K:
