Selective weeding
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Sunday, 13th of January 2019
Lucy and I met in East Dulwich to help Mrs L with her garden and after a quick lesson on weed identification we got started. While I mowed the lawn Lucy got to work neatening up the edges. Mrs L came out to chat a few times and was very grateful that we were there to help as she and her son are no longer able to look after the garden in the way they would like. After an hour so we’d almost filled the brown bin and the place was looking a lot tidier so we said our goodbyes and headed off to enjoy the rest of our Sunday.
