Weather prospects weren’t looking too promising with 100% rain predicted for this lunchtime task! Luckily things lightened to a light drizzle by noon. Quick hello to pick up shopping list from Mrs C. Reminder to self next time to double-check specifics: is it white, brown or balsamic vinegar? Salted or unsalted butter?? Smoked or unsmoked bacon??? Fortunately guess-picked correctly for everything except the vinegar. Ms C was very understanding. Smiles and good wishes, and back on my way.
