Shore was a lot of plastic
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.

Val and I combined a shoreline amble with a litter-pick at Prinsted, focusing on two areas where the seaweed collects at high tide bringing with it pieces of plastic and rope washed in from the sea.
The quantity of litter wasn't huge, but consisted of lots of plastic bottle caps, cotton bud stalks and fishing line rescued from the sea and unfortunately some PPE masks and wet wipes dropped on the paths.
We had lots of chat with local dog walkers and holidaymakers visiting West Sussex from other parts of Britain. A pleasant evening, making a difference in our local area.
