Short and Suite
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Thursday, 23rd of March 2017
Three GoodGym runners met in South London to shift a two-piece suite for a lovely lady unable to do it on her own
This is a classic example of a high-impact mission delivered in record time:
We start with C, a wheelchair user who wants to get rid of two and three-seater settees ready for a new suite being delivered the next day. She can't shift this alone. In fact no one person could do it alone.
Add some GoodGym muscle and, just four minutes of heavy lifting later, C's living room is clear and ready for her new furniture. Result.
To be fair, three pairs of hands didn't quite fit two bits of furniture: Ben and David did all the heavy lifting and I'm just the journalist!
Some of my favourite missions have been the most simple. Short, suite and high impact for our host but really easy for GoodGym.
