Alongside the police cadets, Reengage and ukes 4 fun, Goodgym legends Rachael, Ella and I enjoyed Silver Sunday!
After a wild weather 10k on Southend sea front we got home, made ourselves presentable and rushed to the library to meet Rachael sporting her black 50 t-shirt
The 4 cadets had given up their Sundays to serve tea and coffee and Reenage, like Goodgym, work towards combating loneliness.
Big thanks to Paul Smith from Colchester Library who arranged the table for our display and all three of us enjoyed chatting to Colchester residents and their amazing stories.
Rachael joined ukes 4 fun to play the rain stick, even if she got told off for being out of time. We did not notice!! The library rocked to the ukulele band playing hits like Blue Moon and Bring me sunshine. To top off the afternoon Ella played a little musical popping gun in a world war medley marathon! Epic! So pack up your worries to the sweetest Goodgymers I know!
