Sleeper in place - what a re-leaf!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Hogsmill Community Garden in Kingston upon Thames.

This little community garden is our regular and it’s wonderful to see the progress Julie and Brian have made since our last visit with some new brick paths and plants etc Matt and I were welcomed by Brian with couple tasks to be done that morning. Matt and Brian got stuck digging out old sleeper beam, moving it and sinking it nice and level into its new location to create a border to a new plant area. I have in the meantime got stuck emptying bag of soil into the compost only to rake out enough leaves from around the garden to fill it back up again to get some free compost later on. We have also been treated to a lovely fruit cake from Julie whilst Brian told us about the plans for the Christmas fair being held in the garden as well as some future plans the garden is thinking about. Lovely morning as usual - job done.
