Snow worries it's only a mini beast from the East
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.
- Saturday, 17th of March 2018
Mrs P was very surprised when she opened the door, firstly because she was not aware it was snowing and secondly that we were willing to do gardening in the beginnings of a blizzard.
We said that seeing as we were already here we should at least try and give the garden a quick blast. Kim and Kat bagged up garden waste, ripped up dead plants and tipped out old flower pots in preparation for replanting in the spring.
I took a broom out the front to sweep the path and driveway then put some salt down before joining the other girls in the garden.
Mrs P then made us all tea and biscuits and we got warm in the kitchen and had a good old chin wag. Kat accidentally tipped her hat and gloves off the side and into the washing up so we took that as a sign to leave and were on our way!
