So-fa, so good!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 25th of October 2020
After a wet and windy 8k run, we arrived a little after 10am ready to help Ms P with her sofa bed removal. This was the second time we had visited Ms P and she was grateful we were back to help again. Her sofa bed and a few other items had been moved in to the library so Ms P had more space in her flat- our task was to move these items from the library, downstairs and outside so they could be collected by the council.
The library was situated conveniently opposite the lift so we were able to move the sofa bed frame, mattress and other items with ease. There was just enough room for us to stack everything neatly outside, Ms P and her friend even came down with us to see and said we’d done a great job!
Ms P was extremely grateful and expressed her thanks to Goodgym for all their help. The task made a real difference and Ms P can relax in her now very spacious flat! Great work!
