Sparks were flying!
13 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help the Jubilee Sports Bank in Liverpool.

Our fearless 13 ran an unexpected 6km, delivering leaflets to promote a community sports centre in Kensington.
Last night's run at times, felt like running through a battle zone as bangs and flashes startled us as we scurried down back streets. At other times, the sparkling rockets and shooting stars provided a distraction from thinking about our legs as we ran "up a hill" (aka, a very gentle slope!). Liverpool really went to town with the fireworks this Bonfire Night, making this week's run one to remember.
We dropped by Jubilee Sports Bank, a sports centre based in one of the most deprived areas of the city that offers affordable sports facilities, to pick up some leaflets detailing their autumn/winter programme. Our aim was to make as many people in the surrounding area aware of these facilities as possible.
This week's shout out goes to newbies Harriet and Michael who both got really stuck in, and both bravely ran without long sleeves!
For the task, the group was splint into 2 teams, making for a little competitive leafleting. Team Sophie emerged glorious, beating Team Mat 2-1. But everyone worked super hard, visiting around 200 doors in half an hour.
Don't tell central office, but we skipped tonight's fitness session in favour of sparklers! But then don't they say that a running club that sparkles together, stays together?!
It was all down hill back to base, as fireworks continued all around us. What a night!
Next week we've got an INDOOR TASK and it is a newbie/returner friendly run. So what are you waiting for, sign up here.
