Springing into action, radiating good deeds and not going (coco)nuts
10 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help the Canal and River Trust in Coventry.
- Tuesday, 18th of February 2020
- Led by Liz Pharoah
Tonight, 10 runners from GoodGym Coventry ran 6km to support the Canal and Rivers Trust and Sustrans by keeping the canal paths clear of rubbish.
It was great to see Allan's new red shoes-and lights as well as to hear about Muntasir's parkrun pb Meera's film premiere and Susanne's travels.
Tonight, we were met by Nick from the Canal and Rivers Trust who wanted to thank us for all our hard work and also stayed to give us a bit of history and plans for the future on the canal.
Our finds ranged from bread, springs, radiators, coconut shells as well as the usual litter.
Lovely to see you all and see you all next week for Bag drops for the Cyrenians. Have a good week, Liz x
