After a last minute call on Saturday morning I agreed to step up to be the volunteer shift leader for the afternoon shift. It was good to see a mix of people coming for their booster or second dose as well as the 16 to 18 year olds coming for first doses. Having a small team to lead was made easier by each of them being true superstars and flexible in working wherever they were most needed to support patients and clinical colleagues.
