Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!
9 GoodGymers made their way 3.7km to help the Petersham Common Conservators in Richmond.

Our first group run since the clocks moved forward and it was great to be completing an evening mission whilst it was light still!
After sharing some stories and a warm up on Richmond Green (whereby a lovely older very smartly dressed lady in full length coat joined us for the warm-ups - hopefully she'll come back another week), we started our run. 2.5km along the river to Petersham Meadow where we met Ken and split in to groups. The original remit was to put a new wastage pipe to help prevent flooding and erosion on the Meadow path and unblock another. We made quick work of the unblocking and during the course of laying the pipe, uncovered a third pipe which Ken didn't know was there. So we switched locations and laid the pipe elsewhere giving three clear drainage pipes for the path which should allow for much easier travel through when it rains and preservation of the surrounding land.
Another group picked two full bags of litter at record pace before we called it a night and ran 2km back to the meet point. A fun night indeed!
