Still sunny? We're hedging our bets
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Saturday, 24th of June 2017
I made the terrifying journey South of the River this weekend for some hedge trimming fun with Beth for Mrs P. Beth was ready and waiting having already completed a mission in the morning. Double whammy Beth!
Mrs P is an eager gardener and has quite the green fingers! Sadly she's not able to get out as much to keep it spruced anymore. Today we were helping to cut back the hedge and prune some B-E-A-utiful hydrangeas and yellow roses.
With the assistance of a step ladder I was tall enough to tackle the tops of the hedge and after Mrs P was kind enough to offer us some lemonade Beth used her sugar rush to speedily cleanup all of the trimmings. Then it was just the flowers to trim back.
Job done.
