Light increased as the temperature plummeted, giving a different feel to our session, presumably a short-lived one. Hils, Rosa and I caught up and then jogged over, with Shaz and Kev intercepting us on route. We had a weekend debrief after our cracking social at Get Out gardens.

At Abbey Gardens we made sense of the task, a selection of messages and pictures that were rather explicit - tear down the pergola - not pagoda - and shift the remaining stones. The stones were dragged, not easily, but without too much fuss, in about half a minute. Leaving us with the job of demolishing the wooden structure. With a jump, pull and a jerk, Paul removed a quarter. We then followed suit, yoinking, kicking and pushing to tear it down - albeit in a safe and methodical way - we were in GoodGym 'flow' state. That took the best part of ten minutes. Feeling smug we set about the final part of our session, some bodyweight circuits. A grand total of six minutes, maybe it felt longer, Shaz and Rosa belted out laughter throughout, which is a good abdominal exercise in itself - though perhaps not making it easier...!

We head to Cody Dock next week and we'll discuss the social plans then, for the week after.

You guys have a great week of running, riding and the West Country family fun.

Till then,

B
