On a brisk windswept afternoon in February, two Camden Council employees came out to see what GoodGym was all about.

We power walked our way over to Story Garden behind the British Library. A unique meanwhile space, offering educational opportunities, communal space and shared planters/harvests for locals.

Ayesha and Lesley were a pleasure, they handled the task with consummate ease and a smile throughout. We moved a deconstructed office - or as Lesley put it 'a glorified shed' - about 10 metres out the way. They're going to rebuild it soon - so it was a somewhat delicate job. Some panels were light, others were very much not, we had to work together - but we got the whole job completed.

Inside 1 hour, we'd had a little social, covered a couple of kilometres, did some heavy lifting (urban workout) and helped a worthwhile organisation. I reckon not a bad lunch hour at all.

It was a delight to meet you guys - have a look at the GoodGym website to find where and when your local one is.

Happy training
