Suite Reposition; won't stop til it's over
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Monday, 25th of June 2018
Nicky and I met Katie from the Red Cross this morning at Ms S's house. Ms S is ready to be discharged from hospital, but first needed some space cleared for a hospital bed and other equipment.
The list on the mission email was quite intimidating - it seemed there was a lot to do! Luckily, however, Ms S has an affinity for light furniture, so it wasn't as challenging as we had feared. Katie did the organisation downstairs while Nicky and I did the lifting upstairs.
Ms S's flat was spotless, so we did our best to leave it in a neat and tidy state, with everything in the right place. We hope she gets to return home soon.
