Suns out, bulbs out!

It was a lovely sunny morning at Hillside Gardens for Saturday's task. Tom was there a bit early with a list of tasks for us to get started on!

First up for Sophia and I was digging out some onion/garlic bulbs from the flower bed as they take over the plants. Nathan, Kaz and I had started this last winter and there were some new plants in the area we had dug up 🥀

Joao and Nathan arrived after Brockwell Parkrun and were sent off to collect some garden waste from nearby to put on the compost heap as well as a bit of raking up grass cuttings.

For the final 20 minutes we dug up some deep rooted weeds by the fence before they took over the new hedge that has been planted, so a satisfying mornings work 😄
