Tabled or put to Bed
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Friday, 3rd of August 2018
Having completed his first mission last week Bradley was quick to answer the battle cry yesterday when I circulated a local mission in Crystal Palace for Mrs A who is currently in hospital recovering from surgery, she is deem well enough to return home but before going home a few adjustments needed to be made. We were met at the property by Mrs A’s niece who had been kind enough to clear our walking space in Mrs A’s house while awaiting our arrival. A bed had to be moved from the upstairs bedroom to the floor below, but before we could do that we had to move the dining table to create room for the bed. Under the guidance of Mrs A’s niece we moved the dining table to the front room before going upstairs for the bed, 15 mins later and we had completed our mission. Another 15 mins for us but a longstanding change for Mrs A as she can now be discharged from hospital to the comfort of her own home. We said our farewell and well wishes before setting off.
