The hot weather followed by the excessive rain has made for perfect weed weather. We took to recreating some of the spaces we thought we’d cleared before and filled another two huge refuse sacks with naughty weeds. A party also started the task of weeding at the lake to stop the Victorian edging stones from tumbling into the lake.
The main event was celebrating Jenny’s 100th good deed which, I think we all agree, is much more significant than her passing her doctorate viva a couple of weeks ago. Cookies all round! (Because they’re circles.)
