4 runners ran 1 km to help St Anthony's Church, initially it was an outdoor task to tend to the grounds, but Eva asked us to focus on the indoor task so we teamed up with Manjit's group to tackle cleaning up the inside of the church ready for Friday's reopening for private prayer. Gauri, Pam, Harsha and Sandy took the main section hovering the floor, polishing the pews and cleaning the windows, while Sara and Manjit( I believe I can fly) tackled the reception area, Manjit was going to take down those cobwebs even if they were 10ft high!!! An hours work and the church was looking perfectly respectable, just time for a little confession before we left.
