parkrun has come to the Blaise Estate with the inaugural event held on Saturday 6th May so a secret test event on Saturday April 30th that needed parkrunners to test out the route in real time.
Everything was just like a regular parkrun, though everyone was at the First Timers Briefing and had come from another parkrun.
The route was quite slippery and muddy in places but all lovely and the team had worked really hard for a very long time to get it started.
It’s flat-for-Bristol at under 80 metres for the 5K and has a lovely café who weren’t quite set up for the 9.30 rush.
Looking forward to revisiting and logging a real parkrun!
