The brief: "Bury the briefs"
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Barnet.
- Sunday, 26th of March 2023
- Led by Daniel Mermelstein
Goodgym came to assist a group of enterprising school students start off what could be a long term scientific project at the Mutton Brook Tiny Forest. The students, from City of London School for Girls, started a soil analysis experiment which will measure what impact the tiny forest will have on the surrounding soil. They took detailed samples outside and inside the forest perimeter. They even buried tea bags and underwear to test the rate of decomposition! Earthwatch scientists are also involved in the design of the study. We look forward to seeing it progress and to helping the students along the way!
