The core of the matter
17 GoodGymers made their way 6.0km to help their local community in Tower Hamlets.

Due to a last minute cancellation from the caretake at John Scurr Primary we were left with paint, but nowhere to spread the colour and love!
As such Tom did his best to brighten up our lives, if not the local walls, and brought some festive cheer in the form of some gruelling yet rewarding running intervals followed by Christmas dinner fighting core exercises.
After some strange and comedic warm up 'drills' we jogged to Regents Canal were we did an 'out and back' run - we ran out for 3 minutes and were set the last of getting back inside 6 minutes - which we all achieved, with a bit of effort. After another short jog up to London Fields we pushed through some sprint intervals followed by a fun team really. With exhaustion setting in Tom left the real treat for the finis where we undertook a range of planks, side planks, leg extensions and bridge exercises.
All in all we came away fitter, faster and happy!
