Today’s walk with Mrs B’s dog Molly coincided with a particularly high tide , with the Thames path impassable in places. By the time we headed back the water was receding and we steered our way through the shallow water, paddling passed the Richmond Canoe Club and the Bingham Hotel. Molly even found a couple of partially submerged lampposts to sniff.
‘Doggy Paddle’ would have been the obvious pun, except for the unique and weird incident of the faceless dog. Molly and a passing boxer enjoyed a bit of splashing and sniffing but my photograph eerily erased the boxer’s face. Most strange.

Very eerie indeed Anita. In fact the ears are all that is left of the dogs head!
