2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Saturday, 4th of May 2019
Here's what Mr D of SE1 had to say about the mission:
The person who referred this task to us got in touch to say: "Thank you very much for the support/assistance provided to make client’s property more habitable and ready for client’s discharge. My regards/Kudos to the ladies who carried out a very good job. Keep up the good work!"
On a windy but sunny morning, Frances, after a breakfast of champions and a ten mile run, and Ana met in Southwark to start the weekend with a mission.
Mr D is quite the DVD collector, so our first job was to pack up the hundreds of them before we could move on to the next job, which was moving the furniture so that he could be discharged safely from hospital. So, along with a lo-ot of dusting, even more tobacco sweeping, some creative reshuffling and a lot of talking about the best pizza in London, we soon made the place ready for his arrival. What a way to kick off the weekend!
