The Fellowship of the Litterpickers... We're all Baggins
9 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help their local community in Cardiff.
- Saturday, 27th of January 2018
- Led by Benjamin Annear
This morning lots of GoodGym runners took part in Grangemoor Parkrun... and then afterwards went litterpicking to make Grangemoor Park BEAUTIFUL
We had some GoodGym first timers join us... WELL DONE Gary, Catrin and Darragh - I hope you enjoyed mingling with us and helping out in the community - it would be AWESOME to see you again on one of our Tuesday runs.
A wonderful array of completely random items were found whilst we litterpicked... from socks to drink containers, plastic bags to ... well... really weird stuff!
WOW, 9 bags of rubbish in 35 minutes!?
Yes, that's right! In 35 minutes we collected 9 bags of rubbish. Now that's some serious litter picking!
We enjoyed it so much we think we will do it again sometime :)

Definitely looks way better - the parkrun/good deed combo is a real winner.
