Mission

The Fuschias Bright for Mrs M

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

Whilst the rest of the country was sweltering in the heat, rain greeted my arrival at and departure from Mrs M’s home.

Following a recent health scare and being unsteady on her feet, she asked if I could brighten up her life a little by weeding her front border and then planting a couple of fuchsias for her.

There was enough time to clear out some pots in the back garden and plant some more fuchsias, geraniums and some others (that I’ve completely forgotten the name of!) in them to bring back the colour of her garden.

The smile I witnessed on Mrs M’s face when I was done, was something to behold - another little reminder of what I love about missions ❤️
