The weather this summer means that plants and grass are going wild! I walked around to Mr P’s he was pleased to see me but he was doubtful that I would be able to tackle the lawn as the grass was damp from the rain and it had got so long. I saw that he had a great lawnmower (loving a good lawnmower lately!), it was in Mr P’s hallway with a teacosy on it so that he didn’t bump into it. I got to work carrying it out to the back and Mr P gave me an extension lead and showed me where the plug socket was. I mowed the lawn and Mr P was really pleased that that had been tackled. He told me how the garden used to be and I could tell it was a special place for him that held a lot of good memories. I used the rest of my time weeding and cutting back the brambles. I wiped the lawnmower and put it back in the hall with its teacosy topper.
