The strimmer takes it all
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 12th of May 2019
It was a beautiful sunny morning as Jo and Rebecca set out to help Mrs B in her big garden, which was definitely a sun trap. Ms B explained she needed help with weeding and cutting the grass back but she was a bit nervous about how damp the long grass had become. Jo and Rebecca started off with lots of weeding and clearing the flower beds to give the grass some more sun before getting the strimmer and rake out and making a start. There was quite a lot to do though and unfortunately we couldn’t get through it all, but four or so bin bags later we had made a difference. At the very least it’s cleared the path to help Ms B put her washing out!

Lovely work, Rebecca and Jo! Ms B's garden looks a lot tidier, a nice first mission too, Jo!
