Thinking outside of the box to help Mrs F
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.
- Sunday, 17th of December 2017
On a rainy Sunday morning, Emma, Darren, and Aimee helped Mrs F sort and moved boxes to help her feel settled in her new home. Emma and Darren have helped Mrs F before and commented on the progress that has already occurred at her home. Mrs F set Emma and Aimee the task of sorting through some boxes and repacking what wasn't immediately needed to be stored in the shed. Darren was asked to hang some command hooks before heading outside to organise the shed and make room for the new boxes. Mrs F shared lots of stories of her travels around the world while we were working. Darren also filled us in on the Lord of the Rings-themed Christmas party he attended the night before with fellow GoodGym runners Ben, Martin, and Rachael. Before we knew it, the boxes had been cleared away and Mrs F was bidding us farewell and Merry Christmas.
