This angel was sent to help us!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the Hilsea Lido in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 25th of July 2020
- Led by Judy Knapp
We were a heavenly dream-team of Goodgymers helping out at the Lido, made up of Angelic Sam celebrating her 100 good deeds, Mel, Rachel and I. Mel tied the beautifully-scented roses to the perimeter fence while I dead-headed; Rachel tackled the brambles and weeds on the back path; and Sam fished out all the items that had been thrown into the pool during the recent night of vandalism. She couldn't resist making an OCD line for a photo shoot, before Mel and Paul had stomping good fun squashing the plastic bottles before recycling them.
The Lido volunteers are so grateful for our support each Saturday and are keen to hear about our ideas and to encourage our continued energy & enthusiasm to prepare the Lido for its 2021 re-opening.
