It was nice going back to complete a previous mission and to meet a familiar runner. Now we knew the layout, we efficiently set about our tasks, I took the strimmer to the front garden and Anna used the lawnmower on the rear. After 30 mins, both lawns were tamed, it was now a case of tidying the edges of the back. Three porcelain birds appeared at the base of one tree after it was edged. We didn't do any work on the patio last time. The crawling Ivy was heavily overgrown as was the arch leading into the lawn . We developed an effective cutting / clearing teamwork routine to remove as much possible with a set of secateurs.

Mrs W was pleased with the end result.
