Tidy Compost, Tidy Mind
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in York.

6 Friday Fun Club members joined Miki and his trike to take on the Mound of Compost. Half the team set to filling it into bags and ferrying it through the fence on a makeshift wheelbarrow (wonky but good) and onto the trike, while the other half went to the forest site to unload and spread the compost out. It was all very efficient and Claire & Alistair almost couldn't shovel fast enough! We even had a surprise visit from Angela & Hayden on their dog walk.
After we had done enough for one morning, and Claire had neatly tidied up the pile into the nearest compost heap you ever did see, we inaugurated the FLWWBHRC (Friday Lunch Welly & Walking Boot Hill Rep Club) to tick off January Bingo, ate brownies (another tick for me) and set off on our afternoons. We will be back!
