A Saturday afternoon walk took one GoodGymer back to a leafy lane littered with, um, litter.
Matthew returned to the venue of his solo Friday lunchtime litter pick, as there so much rubbish yesterday he was unable to collect it all.
Determined to rid the roadside verges of rubbish, he readied himself with a new blackbag, and his reliable litter picker, before walking the short distance to Ockwells Road.
He was happy to see the area cleared yesterday had stayed trash free, but further along the road he found a lot more garbage to grab.
Frustratingly there was so much waste to gather he filled his flimsy bin bag before reaching the end of the road.
The weight of many glass beer bottles made for a good arm workout while Matthew carried the bulging bin bag back home. All recyclables were put in the blue bin, which now looks like it belongs to a party house, and the rest placed in the black bin.
Defeated by the sheer amount of litter, Matthew will return again another day to finally tidy his roam.
