To the Finnish line

Having Googled for volunteer opportunities in Jyväskylä, I discovered the amazing Gloria multicultural centre which includes language classes, with conversational English on a Wednesday. Figuring it was best to check if it was OK to help out they also mentioned a litter pick today as the snow has melted. GoodGym GOLD!

So a happy hour spent litter-picking and learning some key Finnish phrases from a Turkish litter picker. Many bags, two bike tyres and a saddle later, we were rewarded with sausages for volunteers!
