A bumper turn out of GoodGymers & local residents this month... we had 6 members of the public alongside the red (& black) t-shirts plus our youngest recruit Alice who is an excellent litter picker already (blackberries too).
As usual we found clothing... 2 pairs of pants and a shirt as well as a mattress (reported as flytipping as we couldn't quite fit it into the bin bags), Captain Hook's hand, broken mobile phone, old paint, drainpipes and a dinosaur! Of course there was the usual haul of cans, paper, plastic and general rubbish too. In one hour we filled around 8 bin bags with litter and 2 bin bags with recycling which has been safely delivered into green bins (Tony's dad was very confused when he got home!). 2 full carrier bags of glass bottles were taken to the bottle bank on the way to a well deserved coffee & breakfast.
Good work all round!
