Trike harder
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in York.

Once again Miki was waiting for us with his trusty trike and surprisingly functional homemade wheelbarrow, and after fortifying ourselves with brownies we quickly filled and loaded the first batch of bags. Lucy and I headed over to see the forest-to-be where we found our new rabbit proof fence almost finished and looking beautiful. We even have a lovely little gate now 🙂. After emptying the bags and a bit of a chat we headed back to find dozens of full bags - super keenies today!
Batch two was loaded and Cara, Rich and Mitch headed to admire our fence / unload while we continued filling. Another couple of loads and time had flown by and it was time for lunch. We spotted Mitch and Rich getting a cheeky ride back in the trike (available for weddings & funerals 😉) and had a quick chat about burying bodies to add to the compost (3 per garden, apparently) before heading off to the next task (via a lovely lunch at Bison cafe).
