Turf Wars
9 GoodGymers made their way 2.0km to help their local community in Liverpool.

On a slightly damp Monday evening, 9 Goodgymmers met, once again, on Hope Street. It was lovely to be joined by our task owner Fiona and to welcome Andy who has recently moved up from that there London.
After a quick warm up we set off for The Women's Hospital. The three walkers took a direct root, whilst the runners zigzagged through the streets of the Georgian quarter to Faulkner Square where we met for a quick Hiit session.
Heart rates and energy levels raised sufficiently, we began the task in earnest - digging up the turf around the fruit trees in the grounds of the hospital to clear space for wild flower seeds to be sown. We had soon cleared the space around two of the trees, despite the rain and failing light. Aside from needing a little work on our circle drawing we were satisfied with our work and had the muddy knees to prove it!
Thanks everyone for your hard work, and Fiona for inviting us - we will definitely be back to help out with future projects!
